Bosch dryer troubleshooting

If there is a problem with a drying machine, with the help of the table of troubleshooting find out the solution. Not every breakage can be eliminated on your own, but many of them. The table shows the actions recommended by the manufacturer.

Nozzle does not spray water adequately.Wipe the outside of the nozzle with a cloth moistened with vinegar. If this does not restore the nozzle to spraying, see “Blocked nozzle” remedial action below.
Blocked nozzleRemove the nozzle using a 7/16 inch (11 mm) socket wrench. Place the nozzle into a container filled with enough white vinegar to cover the nozzle. Allow the nozzle to soak for five minutes, then scrub the nozzle tip gently with a toothbrush to remove residue. Rinse the nozzle and reinsert it back into the dryer and hand tighten, then tighten 1 additional turn with the wrench.

The Start/Stop indicator lamp does not light up.Mains plug plugged in? Programme selected?

If necessary, clean the insect screen on the exhaust air pipe.

Was an unsuitable programme selected?
Has the dryer been installed with sufficient space on all sides? Ensure that air can circulate.
Power failure - restart dryer.
Fine layer of scale on the moisture sensors - Clean the moisture sensors
Laundry damp.Use the next drying programme up or use the timer programme as a supplement
Warm laundry feels damper than it really is!
The moisture content of the room has increased significantly.Make sure the room is sufficiently ventilated.
One or more indicator lights for programme status are flashing.Clean the fluff filter

Exhaust air duct blocked or knicked?
Clean the exhaust air duct
If necessary, clean the insect screen on the exhaust air pipe.
Switch off, leave to cool down, switch on again, restart programme.
Mains failure.Remove laundry from the dryer immediately and spread out.
This allows the heat to dissipate.
The interior light is not working (depending on model).Pull out the appliance plug, remove the cover cap in the interior above the door (use Torx 20 screw driver) and replace the bulb. Close the cover cap.
Never operate the dryer without a cover cap.
